KR BIM Limited performed 3D Laser scanning at Ritz Cinema in Rushden and the outcome is splendid. 🏆
This is an example of a good quality point cloud file that we are going to turn into 3D as-built model.
When you are working on Revit you aren't supposed to play guessing game. 💩 POINTCLOUD? Find better surveyors.

Every single element created on Revit has an author/creator. When you are looking at the model created on Revit you do not see who did what - good for some.
Here comes the Dynamo script - every creator/user will have colour assigned. You will be able to see who did what, how many elements created, the most common mistakes made. You can use this to shame your team, to come up with all sorts of original punishment methods - but this is not the reason why we created the script.
Team leaders - use the script to train your team, analyse the most common struggles, see how fast people are working - on what elements are they spending the longest amount of time. This is your new quality assurance tool.
There is not a single university that prepares a Golden Standard Revitists - not yet. Please correct me if I am wrong. Majority have been spending countless hours doing self-learning, being trained by more senior staff members, lying about their skills during the recruitment process. So the struggle is real - you have a team of Revitists and you are very lucky if there are at least a couple of highly experienced ones.

I believe you know this feeling - just received the outsourced Revit Model, you are already stressing out because its way too late after the deadline, just one look at it - Oh Sh**. And here they are - countless hours of fixing and remodelling. This is the main reason why KR BIM Limited does not outsource any projects. But that's another story....

So let's get back to the point :

The script is going to work with the information about the base levels of the following elements: doors, walls, windows. The next step is - paint by the level. KR BIM Paint by level script is clever enough to detect a mistake. The element that is not on the right level will stand out straight away by being painted in a different colour than the other elements on the same level.

You just have won the amazing price - your time!

Imagine how long it will take you to check every element to spot those few silly mistakes.

You are finally done with the project. Heart rate is slowly going back to normal, taking those deep breathes recommended by all the gurus from the YouTube stress management videos.. I will just check my emails before heading to the pub to celebrate you say..

And there it is - the big bold BUT I do love the project but could we just see how it looks with a little bit wider windows. Good luck with changing all the type parameters manually ! And do not forget to rename. It's just a tiny change to the project isn't it?
