1926–2022. We are saddened to hear the news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II yesterday afternoon and this marks the end of the Second Elizabethan era- 70 years of consistent service and duty. Even as the world changed around her, she remained in place. A fixed point, something by which to orient yourself. She will be remembered in this way.
