It was fantastic to have dancers from our learning disability and mental health services perform at the In the Neighbourhood segment of this year’s All Points East festival in Victoria Park, Tower Hamlets.

This is another exciting achievement from our AnyBODY Can Dance Project, read more here: https://www.lookahead.org.uk/look-ahead-dancers-rock-all-points-east-festival/

This Co-production Week, we are proud to share the latest edition of Heads-Up, Look Ahead's co-produced customer newsletter, developed by our editorial team made of both customers and staff. Read it here:https://www.lookahead.org.uk/app/uploads/2026/06/Heads-Up-Spring-26.Digital.pdf

As we celebrate Co-Production Week, we’re recognising the many ways that people with lived experience contribute to our services.

One of the ways we do this is through our Peer Support Volunteering Programme. The programme gives people the opportunity to use their experiences to support others while gaining experience for themselves. Some volunteers go on to paid employment, some move into other volunteering roles, and some simply enjoy having the chance to give something back.

This Co-Production Week, we’d like to highlight three volunteers who are currently involved in the programme, find out more here:

We were delighted to welcome over 30 delegates from across health, housing, and social care to our Breaking the Cycle launch event. The day was filled with insightful breakout sessions, where smaller groups explored how supported housing models can be mainstreamed and made more accessible for those who need them most.

Breaking the cycle is a new report from The Royal College of Psychiatrists, Look Ahead and the National Housing Federation on the vital role of supported housing in mental health discharge. You can read it here:
