Thanks for spreading the word, Claire Coleman.
My workload is nothing if not varied. In the last week I’ve immersed myself in the Equality & Human Rights Commission’s guidance on discrimination against women for a piece about the new fertility rights bill, calculated what percentage you can save on high end beauty products, investigated this year’s flu strain and, for this piece, which was in the on Saturday, found out more about Stachybotrys chartarum or black mould than I ever thought I’d know. As ever, huge thanks to the two people who gave me my crash course in it – Sam Bellamy of and of – it definitely made me think about how I can reduce moisture in my home. And also made me realise how much of an issue this could be this winter, especially in rented accommodation where it’s often a question of repair and replacement to stop the mould coming back.
Finally kudos to the Telegraph’s illustrators who did an excellent job of taking my copy and making it visual. Have a look at the piece via the link in my bio.
