Five years ago, a few photos and a description got the job done. That era is gone.
Floor plans are no longer a nice touch, they're a minimum. Video is expected. Not just a slideshow, an actual walkthrough where buyers can feel the space before they ever step inside. And yet I still see agents skipping both. That's not a budget problem, that's a mindset problem.
But the real shift? Buyers want answers before they ask the questions. Council tax. Broadband speeds. Mobile signal. They're not waiting to find out at viewings anymore. They want it in the listing, upfront, no chasing. Transparency isn't a selling point now, it's the standard.
The agents falling behind aren't the ones without the tools. They're the ones who haven't noticed the buyer moved on without them.
