Our 80s Retro Summer Party at Minterne on Thursday was an absolute hit! 🕺💃

The residents loved every minute, reminiscing, singing along, and boogying to all those unforgettable 80s classics. From colourful outfits to feel-good tunes, the afternoon was full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of dancing.

A fantastic time was had by all, proving that the music of the 80s never goes out of style! 🎤🎵✨

Thursday afternoon Wimbledon came to Minterne, and what a wonderful afternoon it was! We enjoyed a refreshing Pimm's with strawberries and cream, listened to a tune or two, and even had a dance. A lovely way to celebrate Wimbledon and spend time together

Yesterday’s sizzling weather didn’t stop Minterne from making the most of it—retreating to the cool shade of the garden for board games, cold drinks, and a little friendly competition

We had a great time at Minterne’s Chess Lessons. The residents who play regularly took us novices under their wing, and the highlight was definitely getting to use a Simpsons chess board.😁

Last week Minterne was buzzing with colour and imagination as the residents had a lovely afternoon creating tissue scrunch art.
There’s something wonderfully freeing about an activity where there’s no “right way” to do it — just pure creativity taking the lead.

The Residents of Minterne had a fun Friday afternoon celebrating VE Day 80th Anniversary. There was lots of reminiscing, plenty of Vera Lyn and of course, food, drinks and dancing, Fun was had by all 🥰😁
