Gazundering. Hardly ever had this happen before, but recently it has for a couple of clients.

It’s awful for them. It’s one thing negotiating the price due to survey findings, but to drop the price last minute playing on time pressure to force the seller to accept is just outrageous.

Had a whole chain collapse because of my clients buyers. My client was gutted, but the £25,000 drop sought was too much to bear.

HMLR fees set to increase from 9th December 2024. Items will now cost £7 each, up from £3.

The fees for a title plan or title register will increase from £3 to £7 per document from next Monday (9th December). This includes documents bought from our Search for Land and Property Information service.

This change will help HM Land Registry to continue investing in improving services for customers longer-term, as well as addressing immediate budgetary pressures.
