The new entrance to Knightsbridge tube station will enhance the areas connectivity to London and beyond.

Living in Knightsbridge means you are conveniently located to the Piccadilly Line & with the new facelift of the remodelled underground station it will provide easy access for residents and visitors alike to the Piccadilly Line for Heathrow Airport, City Airport, Kings Cross Station and St Pancras and for the Eurostar.

‘The Knightsbridge Estate has planned significant improvements to the existing Knightsbridge Underground Station and its entrances, working closely with Transport for London. This move supports the Mayor of London’s pledge to make London’s transport network more accessible and TfL’s commitment to make more than 30 additional tube stations step-free by 2023. A new access to Knightsbridge Underground Station is being created at 15 Brompton Road with a further new entrance on Hooper’s Court that will provide step-free access – for the first time – via two 17-person lifts. On-platform cooling systems will aimprove and enhance the overall travel experience for residents and visitors alike. In addition, the pavement on Brompton Road and Sloane Street has been widened to help ease pedestrian congestion and improve the streetscape along the retail frontages. The enhanced station entrance is designed to benefit the new tenants of One Hooper’s Court, The Estate’s new state-of-the-art office development’.

A typical day at York Estates Knightsbridge will often start with coffee from our favourite which is just opposite and 1 minute from our offices on the Brompton Road. We usually start the day by catching up on emails from existing and new clients whilst juggling calls from buyers looking to view our latest properties. Because of our central location in Knightsbridge it’s easy to pop out to show a prospective client a property with little or no notice (this happens a lot) as our sellers entrust us with their keys and we are well known to all the Porters across this Central part of leafy London.

The rest of our day is mixed with valuations and meetings with lawyers, surveyors, private wealth executives and old and new clients. Two days are never the same and that’s why we love working in this part of town and in the real estate industry for the past 30 years.

Knightsbridge homes have always been sought after and it’s mainly because of their location and distance to one of the eight Royal Parks in London, Hyde Park.
