When a child starts creating their own stories… you know you’ve done something right.

The reaction to Princess Rosa and the Underwater Surprise has been so special to see 💛

Children love the colour, the magic, the simplicity of the story…
but more than that, they’re connecting with it.

One little girl I read it to, just two and a half, can’t get enough of it.

And what’s been even more lovely is seeing children take that inspiration and start imagining their own worlds, their own characters, their own adventures ✨

That was always the hope.

Because if a story can spark imagination, it’s done exactly what it’s meant to do.

Renting isn't always a stepping stone whilst tenants save up to buy a property.

New research suggests six in ten tenants have remained in rented accommodation for longer than they ever expected – but many of these now put down roots and build long-term lives in those rented homes.

One question is, is this a positive shift in attitudes about homeownership, or are many people simply finding ownership out of reach?

In my latest article, I dig through what the data tells us about today's tenants, why people are renting for longer, and what it means for landlords, tenants, sellers and the community at large, here in Herne Hill.

Forget the 10-year plan for a moment… what’s your next step?

It’s easy to feel stuck when you think you need to have everything worked out before you begin.

But the truth is, you don’t.

You just need to take the next honest step, from where you are, not where you think you should be.

Because progress isn’t about having the full picture.
It’s about moving forward, one step at a time.

✨ That’s how momentum builds.
✨ That’s how things start to take shape.

💬 What’s the next step you know you need to take?

💭 Sometimes one conversation can change everything.

When I was going through a difficult time, my first call was to Agents Together.

I honestly believe that if I hadn’t made that call, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

They supported me, guided me, and gave me a mentor who helped me find my way again. And that experience stayed with me.

Which is exactly why I chose to get involved.

Now, being a mentor myself is something I genuinely love. Watching others grow, supporting them through challenges, and knowing they’ve always got someone they can call 📞

Because sometimes, that’s all it takes.

💬 If you’re in the industry and ever need a bit of support or guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out.

💭 Most people think clarity comes first in property… it doesn’t.

Whether you’re buying, selling, or even building a career in this industry, purpose rarely arrives all at once.

It shows up as you go.

In the conversations.
In the viewings.
In the negotiations that don’t quite go to plan… and the ones that do.

Because in this business, momentum isn’t built by overthinking every move.

✨ It’s built by doing.
✨ By staying present.
✨ By taking the next step, even when you don’t have all the answers.

That’s how experience is formed. And that’s what ultimately gets results.

💬 Thinking about making a move but unsure where to start? Let’s have a conversation.

Before I was an estate agent, I spent 35 years in the fast paced world of advertising – and it taught me something important about human nature.

It’s a lesson I brought with me into estate agency when I joined the family firm in 2004. Quite simply: motivation matters.

The highest offer is not always the safest sale. ‘Top price’ sounds like ‘best price’ – but what if it isn’t?

In my latest article, I take a moment to reflect on decades spent understanding buyer behaviour, to explain why motivation is could easily be the deciding factor between a smooth completion and a collapsed sale.

For sellers navigating today’s market, this is a timely reminder that ‘best’ can only be said if the offer goes through.

📉 Waiting for the “perfect time” to sell? You might be waiting forever.

The media will always have something to say about the market, good or bad. But the truth is, those headlines rarely reflect what’s happening on your street.

Every area is different. Every move is personal.

So when someone asks me, “Should I wait?”
My question back is simple: why?

If you’ve made the decision to move, if you’ve called an agent in, if you’re mentally ready - then that’s your timing.

Because the best time to sell isn’t dictated by the market… It’s dictated by you.

💬 Thinking about selling but unsure if now’s the moment? Let’s have a conversation, no pressure, just clarity.

💭 You can be half empty… or you can be half full. The choice is yours.

Life gets busy - for all of us. But I’ve always believed that how you see things makes all the difference.

I like to stay active, keep moving, and fill my days with things that bring me energy, whether that’s running the business, studying, writing, or even co-running a pet shop with my sister 🐾

And somehow, it all fits.

Not because I have more time than anyone else… but because I try to focus on what gives me joy, rather than what drains me.

Because when you enjoy what you do, everything feels lighter.

✨ Stay active. Stay positive. Keep finding the good.

💬 Are you naturally half full or half empty?

You don’t have to stay the same person you’ve always been.

Watching these pages come to life has made me reflect on just how many different “lives” we can live within one lifetime.

Business owner.
Writer.
Learner.
Grandmother.

Each one a chapter, none of them fixed.

Because the real privilege is staying open. Open to change, open to growth, open to becoming something new.

✨ You’re allowed to evolve. More than once.

💬 What’s something new you’ve discovered about yourself recently?

We've reached the end of another week... and it has been another week of property market headlines.

The trouble that homeowners and buyers have is that all too often you can see two headlines - sometimes even on the same page - which tell two conflicting stories.

So what is going on?

This week alone, we’ve seen headlines warning about rising bond yields and market strain, whilst others point to growing buyer choice, rising prices, improving activity levels, and lenders launching new low-deposit mortgage products.

In our latest article about the Herne Hill property market, we help you read between the lines – or read between the headlines!

Click on the link below to find out what the latest national and local data is actually telling us.
Because the truth is, the market is neither booming nor collapsing. It is functioning – and understanding why and how is what matters if you are thinking about moving home.
