Looking back on 2025, it has been a defining year for Cornerstone Studios and Sunbury Workshops, with residents pushing their creative practice and demonstrating excellence both within the studios and far beyond them.
At Cornerstone Studios, the year marked a monumental new chapter. The first Cornerstone Open Studios opened the building to new audiences, giving a peek behind the curtain to the trailblazing work of our residents in art, design, photography and more. Alongside this momentum, each of our residents continued to nurture their practices and bring their own dynamism to Camberwell’s wider cultural life, with more events than ever taking place across the building.
Meanwhile at Sunbury Workshops, creativity unfolded within the studio walls, moving fluidly onto wider platforms across the UK. 2025 showcased how our residents are at the forefront of industry-defining changes made in their disciplines, and Sunbury’s role as a place where ideas are developed, refined and evolve.
We look forward to what 2026 holds, but in the meantime take a moment to look through just a few highlights from the last year, among the many which have taken place. Wishing our residents and visitors a very Happy New Year.
