Want to work in a small family run business environment?
Do you have experience managing residential tenancy contracts and tenancy processes?
A successful candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreements (AST). The candidate is also expected to have a sufficient knowledge of the landlord's and tenant’s legal rights. Tenancy processes include;
• marketing properties to avoid vacancies;
• conducting viewings,
• property inspections,
• tenancy renewals,
• check-ins and check outs;
• monitoring and keeping record of all rents;
• managing tenant enquiries;
• maintaining properties so that they conform to the latest regulatory standards including renewing property compliance certificates such as EPCs, ECIRs and Gas Safety Certificates before their respective expiry dates;
• overseeing the repair and refurbishment of properties by working with contractors to resolve any maintenance issues;
• working directly with the company Directors to facilitate smooth company operations;
• ensuring the effective operation of the office including answering the phone, file management and maintaining all offices supplies;
• office hours 9am -5pm Monday to Friday with ad-hoc infrequent duties on weekends i.e. in a property management emergency/for property viewings.
The office environment is that of a small family run business with a total of 3 people in the office day to day. We do expect the successful candidate to be able to work independently together with the Directors support where necessary.
