Following the launch event, join us every two weeks on Saturdays during the Summer for fun, free activities designed for fathers, male carers and children to enjoy together! ☀️👨‍👦‍👧

Our Summer Holiday Timetable Is Out Now!☀️

Get ready for a summer packed with fun, laughter, and plenty of memorable adventures! 🥳

❗While we are super excited to get started, please note that we will have no sessions at Sheringham Nursery due to building works. ❗

We will be running sessions from Jack Cornwell Community Centre, Little Ilford Park and Manor Park Library. 🌟books
We have also planned exciting trips to local parks. 🏞

All Family Hub services will be based just down the road at Sheringham Primary School.

A free Family day out for Dads, Male Carers and their families

Dear Parent/Carer,

Join us for a free family event celebrating fathers, male carers and the important role they play in children's lives.

Saturday 11 July 11am – 3pm

Shipman Family Hub & Youth Zone
340 Prince Regent Lane, London

Come along and enjoy:

Free family activities
Food and refreshments
Community stalls and local services
Information and support for families
Opportunities to meet other parents and carers

We'll also be launching the new DadPad and Co-Parent Pad apps, giving fathers, co-parents and families access to trusted advice, information and support from pregnancy and beyond. On the day, we will be teaching you how to use these brand new apps.

Whether you're a dad, stepdad, grandad, uncle, male carer, co-parent or attending as a family, everyone is welcome.

Did you attend any Newham Family Hubs activities with your child recently? Your feedback will directly shape and improve support services for families in Newham and across the country.

⭐ Who can take part?
Parents or carers of children born between April 2021 and March 2023 who attended Home Learning Environment (HLE) activities between April 2025 and March 2026.
This includes local activities like: Stay and Play sessions, Storytime and reading groups, Welcome to the World sessions, Early language and communication support, Parenting programmes and family activities.

This friendly and informal meeting is a great opportunity to:

We usually meet every two months (on the last Wednesday of the month), and we try to plan around school holidays where possible.
