Why move to West Norwood? The area is tucked in between well known areas such as West Dulwich, Crystal Palace and Streatham - all of which being in close proximity by foot should you choose to venture over. Walking down Auckland Hill will take you to the Bus Station with routes to Brixton, Euston and Elephant & Castle to name a few. You also have the train station with lines to London Bridge, Balham, Clapham Junction, Victoria or out towards Croydon. Tulse Hill station is also on the main road through West Norwood for further rail options. Also worth mentioning is the thameslink through central London from Tyler Hill and the express bus to Waterloo or West End.
