After a huge helping hand with preparations on the bedrooms, we felt it was about time to take up the (what we believe to be 1970’s) pink floral carpet! Lots more work to be done but so excited to see the rooms coming together over the last few weeks.

The beautiful stained glass feature wall in the lobby of North Block.
As our apartment is based in the North Block and this amazing wall is adjacent to the lifts, everyday this is your first and last interaction with the outside world.
The building was designed by Ernö Goldfinger in the 1960’s and originally called Alexander Fleming House.
Ernö proposed three main components of modern architecture:
“The permanent structure; the much less permanent services and an even more fleeting component, the human requirements”.
The building received a Civic Trust Award in 1964 and became a Grade II listed building on 3rd July 2013.

They say the kitchen is the heart of the home and this is definitely our favourite room! Solid oak work tips and dusky grey cupboards. We think the open shelving really opens up this area and brings a modern twist to this grade II listed building. @ London, United Kingdom
