Meet Justine Matthews, our Property Management Accounts expert! 🌟 We’ve asked Justine a few questions so you can get to know the person behind the numbers. 🔢
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
Working on annual consumer events for many years was fast-paced and fun; the House & Garden Fair, Toast Festivals (Australian & New Zealand food, wine and sport event) as well as launching my own equestrian events. I am now able to use the skills I gained over the years to work in a variety of roles at Dutch & Dutch with my husband and father-in-law.
What are your interests outside of work?
A sport enthusiast as well as keeping fit, I especially enjoy cycling, spinning and tennis. I love learning new skills and taking on challenges. Currently I’m learning to play hockey and to coach netball. Family is very important to me and having fun with them is top of my list as well as socialising with friends over a glass of wine or two, going to a music festival and travelling; especially visiting my parents in South Africa for Christmas. I also enjoy sailing or skiing holidays when possible!
Why do you enjoy working at Dutch & Dutch?
I feel lucky to be able to support and work in a family business. I’ve worked at Dutch & Dutch in a number of roles over the past 10 years including accounts, marketing (re-branding) and special projects. It’s a great team and I’m proud to be part of it!
What is your proudest moment to date?
Personally, playing lacrosse for England U18 but also watching my two children grow up (albeit way too quickly).
