Project Brynteg FINAL update, 21 April:
And here she is!! 🎊 Project Brynteg finished, snagged, and across the line 🏁. It was a big refurb this, increasing bedrooms, adding and en-suite, laying a driveway… but what a result… and now, straight on the market! 🎆 🇬🇧

Project Brynteg update, W/e 4th April:
Happy Easter! 🐇🐣
As we enter the long Easter weekend, the house is truly in the final straight, with only a few items o/s: 📋

See a few pictures updating current status (look at those beautiful finishes), with the only significant work’s outstanding being:
- carpets throughout the first floor the next week, but everything has been nicely 🧹 and readied for installation
- LVT flooring throughout downstairs
- garden & outdoor ☀️ works - just some grass & planting 🌴 o/s
- snagging…. 📋The all important final quality step, before the 🔑 🔑 are handed over, and she goes on the market! 🏁

Project Brynteg update, W/e 20 March.
A short update just to showcase the works that have gone on outside, including:
- new underground piping
- Groundworks for the new driveway
- gravel layering
The inside is currently having:
- second fix electrics 💡
- second fix joinery, incl. a new handrail
- 2nd fix plumbing and fittings 🚽🛁
- subway tiling in the kitchen

Project Brynteg, W/e 13 March:

Unlucky for some, but fortunately the Project update on 13th March was positive! 🎉
- All bathroom, kitchen, 2nd fix joinery & LVT delivered to site ✅and all elements of installation are in progress. ✅
- En-suite 🚿 installation complete
- Kitchen & Utility installed ✅
- LVT has been laid downstairs
- 2nd fix joinery at circa 80% complete 🚪

In the next week, the plan is:
- Final fix electrics ⚡️ and plumbing 🪠
- 2nd fix joinery throughout to be completed
- Final paint 🖌️ to be complete

The light 💡 at the end of the tunnel is burning bright, with only carpeting, snags, and the garden left after the upcoming week to achieve completion.

Project BrynTeg update, W/e 6 March:

This week there were deliveries galore! 📦
- Bathroom 🛁 and kitchen supplies arrived
- LVT flooring was delivered
- 2nd fix joinery has been delivered
And some construction 🚧 happened too:
- 1st fix waste 🚽 completed and bathrooms ready for install ✅
- All extractor fans have been cored out and prepared ✅
- Joinery install🚪has commenced ✅

We’re targeting completion by the end of March, with final snags being closed by then, and then she’s on the market!

Project Brynteg update, 22 February:

A short update this week just to ensure we’re keeping you up for date….
After quite a task, the plaster is now completely dry🏁.
With rain ☔️ in the UK everyday so far this year, that was a delay!
- B&K internals ordered and on site 🛁 🚿
- ground floor leveled and drying, in preparation for new floor installation
- new window window 🪟 installed to replace the previous

We’re getting there, and look forward to the Swan 🦢 this project is going to be!

Project Brynteg Update, 6 February:

- all plastering is 100% complete ✅
- dehumidifiers have been mobilized to site to assist with the drying process… quite a job in winter ❄️ ☔️
- site wide clean out carried out to remove debris & waste 🧹 ✅
- 1st coat of paint complete 🖌️ 🎨 🏠
As we look 👀 forward to the next week, the tasks to be completed are:
- drying out of plaster to continue
- second fix joinery to be completed 🔨
- bathroom layouts and supplies to be procured and moved to site. 🚽 🚿 🛀🏼

Project Brynteg Update, 23 January:

- Plaster at 90% and TBC within the next week 🏁
- Chimney removed, new roof tiles laid at apex and new string on either side of apex 🏠
And we chose the fixtures & fittings🚰… thanks to you who weighed in with your preferences… you’ll see it all in a few weeks! ✅

Project Brynteg update, 18 January 2026:
Steaming into 2026, it seems like the work didn’t stop!! 🏃‍♂️ .
Following on from the final update if 2025,
- all the boarding is now 100% complete ✅
- plaster is very well progressed, as is evident from the pics ✅
- the source of the moisture that was identified at the back end of last year has been Identified ☔️ … it’s the chimney and the roof around the chimney 😧… but we have a plan
- chimney will be removed 🔨 and the roof closed.
- New roof tiles to be installed on the apex and the lower 2 layers of tiles 🛖… and then we will enter the final stretch to completion! 🏁.
Keep watching 👀 as we move onto the 2nd fix joinery/ electrics, B&K and more into February! 📅
