Florentia Village: After Hours 🌅

Florentia Village turned into one big party last week, celebrating the new development and welcoming new faces to the workspace neighbourhood. Newest members and kept the drinks flowing, brought the live music, and local businesses rolled in with food trucks to keep everyone dancing all night.

This is what the village is all about: a community where creativity and collaboration happen between neighbours, not just colleagues.

What a week 🎉

Hornsey Town Hall was proud to be part of Crouch End Festival as it returned for its 15th year. One of the UK’s biggest independent community arts festivals filled our spaces with comedy and theatre, music and dance, an independent makers’ market and a pop-up gallery by Palette and Frame Gallery. There was even a beautiful tribute to the memories and wishes made in Hornsey Town Hall over the years in the form of hand-written cards tied all along our staircases – a joyous reminder of what this building is here for.

Huge thanks to and every performer, maker, artist and volunteer who made it happen. This is what community looks like. 💛

We’re excited to share that something very special is coming to Walworth this winter. ✨

Earlier this year, pupils at St Peter’s Primary School worked with to co-design their very own Christmas lights, exploring ideas of light, architecture, and their own neighbourhood.

21 of their designs will be brought to life and installed along the Walworth Road this November, in the inaugural Walworth Kids Xmas Lights. Ahead of that, we will be hosting an exhibition at where you will be able to see the designs and vote for your favourite. More details coming very soon!
