Celebrating the Path to Net Zero!

Last week, Q New Homes and V-Zug hosted an inspiring evening dedicated to The Path to Net Zero, bringing together leaders, innovators, and partners driving sustainability in design, development, and technology.

Guests gathered to explore how collaboration and innovation can shape a greener future. Hartdene Barns took centre stage, showcasing the RIBA Climate Challenge in practice with speeches from industry leaders Audi showcased their cutting-edge electric vehicles, embodying the spirit of sustainable mobility, while Chapel Down shared their visionary journey towards achieving Net Zero, all pairing purpose with passion. Atelier shared discussions on green funding for sustainable developments, underlining the vital role of financial innovation in accelerating climate-conscious building.

The evening was further elevated by V-ZUG’s Gourmet Academy who delighted guests with exceptional canapés prepared on their world-class carbon neutral appliances. A perfect blend of culinary artistry and energy-efficient design.

It was an evening that celebrated innovation, collaboration, and shared commitment to a sustainable future.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in championing the journey towards Net Zero together, we are building the foundations of a more responsible tomorrow.

We are thrilled to share the overwhelming response from the community, with over 7500 votes pouring in!

The incredible support highlights the collective enthusiasm we all share for swapping screen time for green time and bringing kids back to the natural world for their growth and happiness. We are delighted to provide a resource that will deliver natural joy while being a valuable learning aid

Building on this success we are excited to announce our intention to expand this initiative so that more schools can benefit through running further campaigns so follow our page for updates.

We are excited to announce that in support of Mental Health Awareness Week, we will be donating wildlife pods to three nominated schools.

These pods are designed for students to connect with nature and boost their wellbeing.

Our current site in Cowden embodies sustainability in every aspect, from eco friendly living spaces to homegrown produce and vibrant biodiversity. Naturally, donating these pods to schools is in perfect harmony with our sustainable mission and gives students a place where their imaginations can flourish in natures playground.

Hartdene Barns - Literally a breath of fresh air. With mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems filtering fresh air constantly into the home while removing stale air. Absolute Bliss!
