Monday Motivation 💭

Take the leap of faith. Take the risk. You might just change your life.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a business, stop waiting for the “perfect” time. Start now. If it doesn’t work out, learn from it, adapt, and move on to the next opportunity. Every successful entrepreneur has faced setbacks along the way.

Find something you’re passionate about and don’t be afraid to take calculated risks. Growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone.

A few years ago, we knew absolutely nothing about property investing. Fast forward to today, we’ve controlled over 20 properties, and we’re on track to purchase four more in the South within a year.

None of that would have happened if we hadn’t taken the first step.

Sometimes, the biggest difference between where you are and where you want to be is simply having the courage to start.

Take the jump. Your future self will thank you. 🚀

As you’ve probably seen on the news…

We finally made it to the top of the Empire State Building. 🗽😂

Okay… maybe not.

But it got your attention.

The truth is, this post isn’t about New York.

It’s about where we started.

We both grew up on a council estate. We didn’t have wealthy families, huge investors, or a roadmap showing us how to build a property business.

Everything we’ve achieved has come from taking action, learning every day, making mistakes, and refusing to give up when things got difficult.

From securing our first Rent-to-Rent deals…

To completing refurbishments…

To landing single bookings worth over £57,000…

It’s proof that your starting point doesn’t determine your destination.

If you’re waiting until you have more money, more experience, or the “perfect” opportunity…

Start now.

You don’t need to know everything.

You just need to take the first step.

From council estate to New York… today it’s a joke.

But from council estate to financial freedom? That’s the real mission.

Where did your journey start? We’d love to hear your story below. 👇

The single biggest thing we’ve done to generate repeat bookings isn’t a fancy marketing strategy.

It’s something most serviced accommodation owners completely overlook…

Previous guests.

Especially contractors.

If they’ve stayed with you once, already trust you, and had a good experience…

Why are you spending all your time chasing new guests instead of speaking to the people who already know, like and trust you?

A simple message can lead to:

✅ Repeat bookings

✅ Referrals to colleagues

✅ Company-wide accommodation contracts

✅ Long-term relationships that generate bookings for years

Sometimes the next booking isn’t on Airbnb or Booking.com…

It’s already in your contacts.

Who’s the first previous guest you’re going to message today?

Do you ever get the feeling that work takes over your life? Yeah… me neither.

When you’re passionate about what you do, it never really feels like work.

Put in the hours today, stay consistent, and trust the process. Hustle now, reap the rewards later.

Everyone saw a house.

We saw a land deal.

Or at least that’s what we thought.

📍 Repossessed 3-bed semi-detached

📍 Large side plot

📍 Structurally sound

The obvious question was:

“Can we build another house here?”

Then the agent mentioned something interesting…

The neighbour behind wanted to buy the land.

Suddenly the opportunity wasn’t planning permission.

It wasn’t development.

It wasn’t construction.

It was a conversation.

Too many investors focus on adding value.

The best investors spot value that’s already there.

Everyone asks how to get started in property when they don’t have much money.

The truth?

We didn’t start with deep pockets.

We started with education, networking, sourcing deals, managing properties and finding ways to create value before owning assets.

The four routes that helped us build momentum were:

✅ Deal Sourcing

✅ Property Management

✅ Learning everything we could

✅ Joint Ventures & Angel Investors

Our own journey wasn’t perfect. We sold deals and took on two Rent-to-Rent properties at the same time.

Looking back, we probably bit off more than we could chew.

But we made it work because we backed ourselves.

Sometimes your biggest asset isn’t your bank balance.

It’s your willingness to take action.

Which of these 4 routes do you think is the best way to start today?
