So photo-real we can almost smell the coffee.
This is our CGI of the A1 Stadium Diner in Colsterworth by which is due to get much more than a lick of paint in the very near future.
We’re often asked what is it that makes a CGI photo-real. The obvious answers are the lighting and material palette. Beyond that, however, are the things that go unnoticed. Little imperfections such as puddles, leaves, dirt etc.
We were tasked with creating a CGI around this brief:
- An evening shot set at late dusk
- Wet weather
- Exterior cold blue tones
- Interior warm yellow tones
- Slightly foggy
- Neon with car light trails.
Our aim was to make the interior feel very inviting because it looks warm and cosy in contrast to the dark damp evening externally. The narrative is very much park-up, come inside, relax and dine.
