How exciting to see a concept grow from an idea to the soft opening of their first store in Covent Garden.
Kung Fu Mama will formally open its doors to customers on Tuesday 8th April, but Shackleton had the joy of a sneak eat last week. This is the first of Kung Fu Mama’s authentic noodle bars bringing the taste of Taiwanese street food to London, the brainchild of Noam Bar, Ottolenghi’s co-founder, and Chris Hsu the owner of Kung Fu Mama dried noodles.

In partnership with Kier Group, Mole Valley District Council will be delivering a revitalised shopping centre and a mixed use development, driving footfall back into the town centre.
