Running a business and being on maternity leave has been a strange balance - replying to the necessary emails with one hand and making up bottles with the other, whilst forcing myself to actually step back from the day-to-day 😅

But it’s a good test of whether your work actually supports your life.

I’m so thankful that I can do this for a few months and everything keeps moving - that’s down to the brilliant team holding things together while I get this time (in the sun 😝) with my boy ❤️

This year, we had some money left over from our Christmas party (for estate agents I know that’s shocking 😱) and we’ve decided to put it to good use.

Every Christmas, Single Homeless Project host their own Christmas parties for the people they support. £150 buys a Christmas party for one of the night shelters, where SHP provide food, games and spread some Christmas cheer🎄

The left over budget from our partners who could not make it has now been donated to fund two Christmas parties for those living on the streets of London this Christmas time.

So, from all of us at Nested Estate Agents, thank you for a wonderful 2023 and thank you to SHP for continuing to provide support to those who need it most 🫶

👉 1:1 marketing sessions, access to their fellow agents on Slack, tech support and phone support (and of course space in HQ if they want to come in for the day)

👉 All exchanges are sent to our all company slack channel, meaning you still get a celebration that makes you feel like you’re back in an office ringing a bell

👉 An exclusive patch means our agents can forge genuine connections without fear of someone encroaching on their vendors. We have neighbouring agents who often go for golf, dinners, catch-ups and help each other cover viewings when needed

Appreciation post: Celebrating our Chislehurst Partner, Chris Lang 🫶

Chris worked on the high street for over 20 years running a successful well-known branch in Chislehurst before becoming a self-employed estate agent with Nested.

In Chris’ first full year he’s completed £154k’s worth of fees (Nested’s yearly cap is 83k before then taking home 100% of the commission) 👀

He has managed to cement himself within the Chislehurst community and is quickly establishing himself as the local ‘must use’ estate agent 🤝🏡🏆

Meet Deeanna Thorpe - Marketing Associate here at Nested Estate Agents

Dee’s role at HQ is to help our partners with requests, create new and exciting content for them to use, and help them with 1:1 Canva sessions. Alongside this, she plans and executes Nested’s social media!

Facts about Dee:

🪄She’s got a keen eye for design. You’ll often find her finessing presentations, brochures and more.

🪄She puts her photography degree to good use. She takes all of our headshots and ensures all our Partners have their best profiles in use!

🪄She’s a great director and will redo a video as many times as it takes to get it right.
Watch out Emerald Fennell!

🪄She’s a wizz with Photoshop, but you won’t find her going too drastic with the edits. ‘Au Naturel’ at Nested!
