Hammersmith and Fulham Council, in partnership with H&F Giving, is delighted to launch the H&F Community Support & Resilience Fund 2026/27, awarding grants to local community and voluntary organisations supporting residents experiencing financial hardship and material deprivation.

The fund has been developed to strengthen community-based coordination and early intervention support.

The fund will combine practical help for people facing immediate need with preventative activity that helps residents access essentials, improve financial resilience, reduce the likelihood of repeat crisis, and connect with wider support.

The £225,000 fund is being administered by H&F Giving behalf of H&F Council, supported by the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) 2026-29.

Organisations are invited to apply for grants of up to £20,000.

Applications are now open until Wednesday 28 October 2026.

We will be running an in-person information session on Tuesday 13 October, and an online session on Wednesday 14 October.

Sue — thank you for your tireless hard work, your endless patience with us all, the thoughtful Christmas gifts that you delivered to us during Covid lock down and your unwavering support across every area of our diverse community work. You were always the first to step up, the first to put your face out there on social media, and your famous “just get on with it” approach — in the very best way — kept us moving forward, even when things got tough. We’re going to miss you more than we can say.

Throughout September, we stand together to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and remind everyone — help and hope are always available.

Today, 10 September, is World Su***de Prevention Day.

🗣️ How to start — and what to look for:
It can feel hard to know what to say, but noticing changes and asking can save a life.

Signs may include: withdrawing from people, changes in sleep or appetite, hopelessness, increased substance use, or talking about feeling trapped or being a burden.

💛 If you notice something — say something. Ask gently: “How are you really doing?” Listen without judgment. Don’t rush to fix it — just be there. And help them connect to support when they’re ready.

And right here in our H&F community, we don’t do this alone. We are so grateful for the grassroots groups and charities who show up, listen, and hold space for us every day — including:
