Autumn in Paris 🧣🍁🫶🏽
I might be biased (being French)….although I know this city inside out, Paris architecture never ceases to amaze me…I am like a kid in a candy shop wondering around. 2-day trip with clients to assess and value a Haussmannian private hotel 🗝️

Lake Como 🇮🇹 - I could have stayed there for hours looking through that window, soaking up the atmosphere, if we didn’t have another viewing to head to with my clients. This villa was one of the 11 front-line properties in Como we viewed during those four days together…most of those renaissance beauties, full of charm, heritage and views to take your breath away.

Watching you go with mixed feelings 😁. One of our best years business wise, for which I am very grateful, but a challenging one personally. Everyone’s own journey is filled with hurdles and whether we like it or not, unexpected S*** will happen in our life, so we better embrace those moments too and be ready for it. But in most cases, those challenges/pains help us grow, develop and become better version of ourselves. Gifts in disguise some would say ✨

How do we decide which property is the right one for us?

It usually comes down to the energy AND how we feel when we first step into a property (as long as the specifications match the brief). This is very irrational, and more often than not, women sense this energy wayyy quicker than men 😁, who usually look at the more “technical” side. That probably explains why 9 out of 10, Madame makes the decision 👸🏽🤝

Thornbury Castle - If you are close to Bristol (UK), I highly recommend to make a detour, visit and stay …you will be thrown back centuries, surrounded by palatial luxury at a time where Tudors reigned supreme 🛡️⚔️. The original Thornbury manor dates back to 1019 and the standing fortified castle has been built in 1510 by the third Duke of Buckingham, Edward Stafford. It was a display of wealth and ambition that Henry VIII didn’t take too kindly. 10 years later, Edward was accused of trahison, beheaded and Henry VIII took control of the castle. Not a wise strategy to p**s off kings at that time🩸😅 .

Aside of the mesmerising architecture, imposing building, craftsmanship, art pieces, feel…the restaurant/food there is simply exquisite!! Usually a let down in those historic places turned into hotels. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get their first Michelin start in the coming years 🍽️⭐️
