The U.K. government has passed one of the cruellest law in the country against migrants and refugees, but it will not stop civil society’s campaigning against this inhumane law. Rwanda is not a safe country 💪🏿

After last night’s vote, they want a ‘proof of concept’ journey to get the ta**ry policy back on track. But it’s too flawed for that, says Enver Solomon, chief executive of the Refugee Council

Exclusive: Visas created hastily to solve labour shortages expose people to ‘hyper-precarity’ and exploitation

👩🏻‍🍳 About Yvette:
I'm Yvette, a devoted culinary enthusiast whose love for cooking has been nurtured since my childhood.I grew up alongside my dad, who's the best cook in my home town. Assisting him in the kitchen and learning the art of crafting Filipino and Spanish dishes. Inspired by my father's expertise, I embarked on a culinary journey that began when I took up an Associate's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, specialising in restaurant service. My passion for cooking is a flavourful blend of tradition and creativity. I enjoy preparing meals for my family and friends. I also cater for events and parties. During the pandemic, I cooked and sold meals in the box for income. This culinary journey wasn't just about recipes; it became my refuge, a balm for my mental health struggles. Battling depression and anxiety, I discovered that cooking was my medicine-a way to heal, create, and find inner peace.
