Right on the doorstep of our Waltham Abbey office stands one of Essex's most striking buildings. 🏛️
The Abbey Church of Waltham Holy Cross has been here since the 12th century, and its Norman nave is one of the best preserved in the country. Out in the grounds, a plain marker stone shows where King Harold II, the last Anglo-Saxon king of England, is said to be buried.
Worth ten minutes on a weekday morning if you've never been in!
