kitchen refurbishment in West Dulwich. We’ve split the post in two as there was so much going on in the space.
This was a fantastic project working for another lovely client. The works involved removing a dividing wall, chimney and opening up the space to create a large open plan kitchen with timber bi-fold doors leading to the garden. The project also involved new gas and plumbing works with the installation of a new heating system in the loft. We replaced the original timber suspended flooring and the old concrete floor with new concrete, (insulated to regs) and installed new underfloor heating and finally after a top screed, the beautiful tiles. Great project for amazing clients!

Black is the new black: This Shower room was designed with a large shower space of 1m2. We chose a matt porcelain tile in Marble effect with black tiles. The black finishes on the taps and shower screens contrasted well with the light colour walls and copper finishes of the towel radiator. The radiator was made bespoke for the space. We also managed to use the under stair space for additional storage and for location of the washing machine.

Dark and stormy...Open plan Kitchen Living room This lovely first floor flat in the Victorian terrace on Battersea park road is full of traditional features combined with some interesting design to maximise space and utility.

The open plan kitchen and living room concept was much needed to keep the flow of light from the front of the building to the rear. The kitchen design using darker units in a Shaker style complimented the traditional feel of the flat along with Exposed brickwork. The skirting and coving design were chosen as the flat benefited from tall ceilings.

For the bedroom, and as with most loft conversions, use of the eaves space was essential in providing storage space, which could very easily have been lost. The bespoke storage unit with sliding doors and trouser rack and shelves really helps with a small bedroom space. You can never have too much storage!
