What was once a series of disconnected, underused spaces is now a bright, open-plan family home designed for modern living in the heart of Sutton in Surrey.

By reimagining the layout from the ground up, we created a seamless connection between kitchen, dining and living spaces, maximising natural light and improving the flow throughout the house. The result is a home that feels larger, calmer and far better suited to everyday family life.

At BetterPAD, we’ve always loved creating a strong connection between the indoors and outdoors wherever we can.

Homes often have beautiful gardens that aren’t fully enjoyed because the spaces inside feel disconnected from them. Through thoughtful design, generous glazing and carefully positioned openings, we aim to blur that boundary - allowing natural light, views and fresh air to become part of everyday living.

Large sliding doors, covered terraces and open-plan layouts can transform how a home feels, creating spaces that extend seamlessly into the garden and change with the seasons.

The result is a home that feels brighter, calmer and far more connected to its surroundings.
