Throwback ……Project with using fabric on these blinds
Chilewich was founded based on the creativity of Sandy Chilewich who spotted the potential of woven extruded-vinyl yarns for textile applications.

The design studio is located in New York City. The is in Chatsworth, Georgia.
Under their “Window + Upholstery” section they offer roller shades, solar shades, vertical systems.These are custom-made and use their textile weaves in more architectural or specification settings.

Chilewich uses a proprietary extruded vinyl yarn called “TerraStrand™” (or similar) that is phthalate-free, uses at least 18% renewable vegetable content, and claims savings in petroleum and CO₂ compared to conventional woven vinyls.
