4 things East London homeowners can do that will get you the best price for your home in 2022

If you are looking to move home in 2022, you need to plan to ensure you get the best price for your East London home.

Evidence from the Land Registry shows us that most East London buyers and sellers put their home onto the market in January and February, then sell in those early Spring months and plan their move around Easter or just afterwards.

With local odd job people, building contractors, painters, decorators and other allied building trades being in short supply since lockdown, you need to start planning now and getting these people booked in now to ensure you don't miss out

So, what are the critical things you should consider

1. Paint
Getting a fresh lick of paint on both the interior and exterior of your home will not only freshen up the space but make a good impression on potential buyers – letting them know that the home has been well-taken care of.

2. Carpets
If your carpets are more than ten years old, you need to seriously consider replacing them or at least have them professionally cleaned.
