Sneak preview of our latest serviced accommodation unit in Essex.

A brief insight into what a unit set-up looks like from our property manager, Linda Stewart.

Thursday
Collected the keys at 2.30pm as agreed, took meter readings, then did a live virtual fire risk assessment which took just over an hour. TIP: Following initial consultation, floor plans and videos have been previously sent to the fire risk assessor ahead of time so he knew exactly what he was looking at. We had also purchased required items such as fire extinguisher, fire blanket, smoke alarms etc., as per his brief.

Friday
Professional deep clean done on the house 🧹🧽🧼 No corner of the house was left untouched. The most challenging thing of all was cleaning the wooden blinds housed in the 6 foot windows🪟of the house that has 10ft + high ceilings. The house has around 18 windows. As you can imagine that was a task and the full clean was finished around 9.30pm 🕰️ 😴

Throughout the day the beds (2 super king size zip and links and 2 singles) and mattresses were delivered 🛏️a brand new Fibre broadband installation took place 🛜 and when I was able to leave the house I was running around buying last minute bits.

Saturday & Sunday
Set up team arrived Saturday morning with a van full of brand new furniture 🚐🪑🛋️and a couple of upcycled items we’d been painting in the garden all week and between the 3 of us we: made up and dressed beds, hung pictures, put up missing blinds, missing lampshades, mirrors, put together flat pack stuff, a full smoke alarm system with heat sensors and Co monitor, dressed the table for dinner, completed final fire risk assessment which checked all the recommendations were now in place, more running around buying last minute bits 🛒🛍️🛍️

We were still setting up around the photographer when he arrived for the photo shoot but somehow everything magically fell into place 📸

Excited to see the finished pictures when ready which includes some aerial drone shots of the house🏡

Treated the team to a very well deserved steak dinner 🍽️on Saturday night. Can’t thank them enough and would never have been able to get the job done without them 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

The owner of the house dropped by on Sunday with family just as the drone was flying over her house and was very happy with how we’d dressed her home. THAT absolutely made my day, and as always grateful that the family have entrusted their home to yours truly.

Monday
Our corporate guests checked in, and we are hosting them for the next 6 months.

SA set up is intense but so satisfying and 100% worth it.. Looking forward to the next one!
