It was a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, build new connections, explore collaboration opportunities, and discuss the current UK property market.

Last week, I had the privilege of attending a private tour of the Palace of Westminster alongside members of several family offices for an intimate evening gathering. Against the backdrop of one of Britain's most historic institutions, the conversations were both insightful and inspiring.

What resonated most was hearing the next generation speak candidly about the challenges facing businesses and society, while exploring thoughtful solutions and philanthropic initiatives that can create lasting impact. Equally encouraging was the emphasis on understanding and supporting older generations, recognising that progress is most meaningful when it is built on mutual respect and empathy.

My sincere thanks to Lord Wei for his fascinating historical insights into the House of Commons and for sharing lessons that bridged history, leadership, entrepreneurship and public service.

The evening served as a reminder that some of the most valuable conversations are those that bring together different generations, perspectives and experiences in pursuit of a common good.
