KREOD and KREODx are honoured to be part of the design and delivery team for Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair.

A landmark hotel, a world-class setting, and a project where design, precision and delivery truly matter.

For KREOD, this is about craftsmanship and ex*****on.

For KREODx, it is about bringing intelligent DfMA, 3D coordination and a more precise design-to-delivery workflow into high-end hospitality.

Proud to contribute to such an iconic project in the heart of London.

Construction doesn’t need another layer of digital decoration.

It needs executable information.

For too long, the industry has confused 3D BIM modelling with certainty. A beautiful model may help people visualise a building, but it doesn’t tell you whether the building can be manufactured, procured, priced, assembled or delivered without commercial chaos.

That is the gap KREODx was created to close.

KREODx turns design intent into coordinated, manufacturable and financially actionable information before construction begins.

It connects design, engineering logic, real quantities, live cost, fabrication data, procurement intelligence, assembly logic and site delivery into one continuous workflow.

The objective isn’t to save a few clicks in a software interface. That’s weak ambition.

The real objective is to remove ambiguity from construction.

When design information isn’t executable, the consequences are obvious: manual take-offs, fragmented coordination, delayed procurement, cost drift, site improvisation and financial risk.

When design information becomes executable, the project moves differently. It becomes measurable, quotable, manufacturable and buildable from the start.

This isn’t abstract software thinking.

KREOD designs and builds real buildings and KREODx has been developed from the realities of design, procurement, fabrication and site delivery.

That’s why KREODx isn’t simply another design tool. It’s an executable design-to-delivery platform for a construction industry that needs far greater certainty, not more interpretation.

This’s where architecture, engineering, manufacturing and PLM need to converge.

Not more disconnected models.

Not more drawings for others to interpret.

Executable design.

That’s the next evolution of construction.

We’re pleased to share that our founder, Chun Qing Li will be speaking at the Siemens PLM Components Innovation Conference 2026 on behalf of KREODx.

28 to 29 April 2026
Downing College, Cambridge

The built environment can no longer afford fragmented workflows, disconnected information and late-stage interpretation.

While industries such as aerospace and automotive have spent decades integrating design, engineering, manufacturing and lifecycle intelligence, construction still relies too heavily on drawings, assumptions and reactive coordination.

For KREODx, this is more than a speaking engagement. It is an opportunity to contribute to a much bigger conversation about how the built environment moves from representation to ex*****on.

How design becomes something that can be coordinated, quantified, manufactured and delivered with far greater certainty.

We look forward to the discussions ahead.

A contemporary transformation shaped by mid-century modern principles.

Clean forms. Expansive glazing. Weathering corten steel.

A sculpted dormer and full-height rear extension reconnect the house to its garden.

Below, a private retreat. A calm wellness space opening onto a planted courtyard, bringing light, greenery and stillness into the centre of the home.

Natural materials. Warm timber. Sliding glass that dissolves inside and out.

Designed and delivered by KREOD using KREODx.

Pleased to share that our founder Chun Qing Li will be speaking at the Siemens PLM Components Innovation Conference 2026 in Cambridge on 28th to 29th April.

Looking forward to contributing to the conversation around PLM, AI, components, intelligent automation and the future of executable design in the built environment.

Rethinking the Roof of the City

Most cities are running out of land.
But they are not running out of roofs.

This design study explores how existing residential buildings can evolve into vibrant communities through carefully designed rooftop development.

Rather than demolition, the proposal adds a new geometric rooftop layer above the existing brick buildings. The faceted structure creates new homes, shared spaces and terraces while activating the skyline and bringing new life to the neighbourhood.

By building above what already exists, cities can grow more sustainably, increase housing supply and strengthen communities without erasing their foundations.

Architecture should not just expand cities.
It should upgrade them.

Good to see this issue asking the question the industry keeps dodging — not what tools can do faster, but what decisions they actually make better.

AI in AEC isn’t a speed problem.
It’s a decision-quality problem.

Faster drawings don’t resolve non-executable design, mispriced risk, or the illusion of certainty that only collapses later — usually on site or in procurement.

That tension between design intent and commercial reality is exactly what this piece explores, and why KREODx is built around fabrication truth, cost consequence, and accountable authorship — not just visual output.

Looking forward to the January / February edition of AEC Magazine, particularly the discussion on the architect reclaiming responsibility as a system integrator in the AI era.

STOP DRAWING BUILDINGS. START EXECUTING THEM.

Construction doesn’t fail because we lack talent. It fails because the information we rely on is fragmented, manual and unverifiable.

We are still trying to build the future using document-based workflows that disconnect the moment they leave the model.

It’s time to close the gap between “Design” and “Delivery.”

Introducing the KREODx workflow—powered by Siemens technology. We are replacing disconnected BIM with executable, system-based DfMA.

The Shift: Instead of static drawings, you get a system where:
✅ Geometry is resolved once (no more collision conflicts on site)
✅ Engineering logic is embedded (rules are baked in, not added later)
✅ Manufacturing constraints are validated (if it can’t be made, you can’t model it)

The AI Advantage: KREODx AI eliminates the most wasteful parts of the pre-construction phase. We automate what used to take weeks:

X No more manual take-offs: Design-derived BoMs & BoQs.
X No more guessing games: Live, design-driven cost certainty.
X No more dead ends: Quotation-ready outputs and material passports.

Real projects aren’t built on drawings. They are built on ex*****on strategies.

Draft Less. Deliver More.
