🎨A new piece of art in our own home, created by myself and Laura.

We got some inspiration from a diy programme and decided to give it a go. 👩🏻‍🎨👨🏻‍🎨

Whilst the little one was up we popped to all together.

Then once he was napping 💤 it was all hands on deck. I cut the pieces of MDF to size and stuck them together using unibond ‘no more nails’ once it was dry Laura did the fiddly task of painting 😁

The total cost of the project was less than £10!! ⭐️

We put to use the two days of sunshine we had in the whole of March ... I built us a pergola in the back garden as part of a full garden makeover which we’re just starting 🧑‍🎨

This is our third refurbishment in #2020 and they’re all-consuming on a level. This one is being financed with development funding…so another layer of bureaucracy to add to the tonne of paperwork which goes into the project in the first place! That said, there’s still a when that sledgehammer starts making inroads and you know the are going to smash it (literally).
