We were really pleased with how the custom letterboxes turned out at Whitefriars, Gloucester. These were designed by UrbanR and produced by the talented , Shoreditch.

The design takes reference from the project’s facade which is derived from the vaulted ceiling of the City’s Cathedral and adds another moment of interest and intrigue for the occupier.

Reef is pleased to announce that we have received planning approval to create a specialist Life Sciences Quarter in the centre of Stevenage, further enhancing the area’s growing reputation as a centre of excellence for life sciences. The Forum will be transformed to provide four specialist biopharmaceutical advanced manufacturing laboratories and a central collaboration building and teaching hub to train the next generation of STEM leaders. The £500m development will strengthen the town’s position as a leader in cell and gene therapy and will rejuvenate the town centre through the provision of new public space, shops and restaurants.

We plan to be onsite by the summer and to welcome the first tenants in 2025.

Reef Group are delighted that the London Bioscience Innovation Centre (“LBIC”), guaranteed by the Royal Veterinary College (“RVC”) will be growing their footprint within The Apex, at Tribeca. With the first phase due for completion in 2023, Tribeca will be London’s first purpose built Life Science campus, and LBIC will form an integral part of this exciting new state of the art ecosystem, partnering with Reef to help realise their exciting growth ambitions. Tribeca will provide in excess of 800,000 sq ft of laboratory space, alongside complementary uses such as restaurants, retail, a wellness centre and high quality public realm adjacent to the Regents Canal.

We have been documenting the story behind the on-site progress of The Store our new boutique hotel and venue based in the heart of Oxford. A city built on prestige, with the greatest minds, discerning tastes and those willing to push boundaries.
Our design is inspired by the heritage of the two buildings which once stood here, and our store-inspired experiences create nostalgia-evoking moments. The building itself is made up of a large lobby and bar, a spa, meeting facilities, 101 rooms, an iconic restaurant and a rooftop terrace and bar. Large windows pour light into the internal spaces animating original features and materials influenced by the past.

Stevenage is the third largest cluster of Cell and Gene companies in the world , the largest outside of the USA, with such therapies overlapping the fields of biomedical research and treatment. Both therapies aim to treat, prevent, or potentially cure diseases, and both approaches have the potential to alleviate the underlying cause of genetic diseases and acquired diseases.

Reef and UBS have submitted a planning application for a significant transformation of Stevenage town centre to create a GMP life science cluster with an inward investment of £350m. Theplans include four specialist GMP buildings, R&D lab enabled work space and ground floor retail and leisure units totalling c 460k sq ft. and also include a new multi storey car park, new public realm and improved pedestrian and cycle connections to the wider town centre. Start on site is scheduled for early next year and once complete will generate c 1800 skilled jobs and £98m in the local economy.

Following start on site in October of last year of Autolus Ltd’s new 82k sq ft advanced manufacturing facility, is due to hand over their first two clean rooms in November to expedite regulatory approval.

We look forward to progressing our exciting plans and working with key stakeholders, who have assisted greatly to make this happen, further growing this important UK Life Science cluster.
