Our Director Stephen Hawes has had an article published in CIOB Construction Management.
Building more without building worse considers the importance of checking concealed work before it is covered up, particularly where repeated details, sequencing, substitutions, workmanship and inspection records can affect build quality and long term performance.
The article also looks at how better records and risk based inspection of concealed interfaces support the increasing emphasis on accountability, evidence and reliable building information under the Building Safety Act and golden thread requirements.
