Trainee Property Manager
Location: Stratford, E15
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you organised, ambitious, and looking to build a career in property management? Victor Michael is seeking a motivated Trainee Property Manager to join our Stratford team.
With full training provided, you’ll develop the skills and confidence to manage your own portfolio of 50–100 properties while delivering outstanding service to landlords and tenants. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a respected agency with ongoing support and career development.
Your Role Will Include:
• Managing and developing a portfolio of 50–100 residential properties
• Carrying out essential compliance checks, including GSI, ESI, PAT, and EPC requirements
• Applying for Private Rented Property Licences (PRPL) across multiple boroughs
• Organising and completing property management inspections
• Negotiating deposit returns between landlords and tenants, including coordinating repairs and
cleaning requirements
• Liaising with utility providers to ensure properties are ready for occupation
• Coordinating repair works, obtaining estimates, and working with trusted contractors
• Managing tenancy renewals and preparing contracts
• Preparing tenancy agreements and legal notices, including Section 8 and Section 13 notices
• Collecting and maintaining accurate landlord and tenant documentation
• Processing tenant referencing through HomeLet

Working Hours:
Monday–Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am–2:00pm (one in three Saturdays)
Salary:
Up to £28,000 per year, depending on experience.
Salary will be reviewed following successful completion of the three-month training period. Location Requirement: The successful candidate must be based in East London.
