-1100-1300, Thursday, 03 July 2025
-The Hive (173, East India Dock Road, London, England, E14 0EA). (address could be subject to change)

*Speak directly to officers in the police, council and partner agencies about their local concerns and emerging issues about crime and ASB (Bring along your cases with Tower Hamlets or with the Policeโwhether itโs still pending, inactive, or just needs a little extra nudge. This is a fantastic chance to give your ASB case the boost it needs! ๐๐ช)
*For the police, council and community safety partners to demonstrate โon the groundโ partnership working and to build confidence in the police and council in dealing with local crime and ASB issues affecting residents.
*To hold partners to account and produce robust, ward-specific plans that all partners agree to respond to.
*To engage and inform residents of the action taken , report concerns and ultimately reduce the fear of crime.
*To raise awareness of police ward panel meetings and encourage residents to get involved and help directly shape policing ward priorities.
*To promote the message that tackling crime and ASB is a partnership priority commitment, working with residents to create a healthier and safer community.

Here are some helpful notes and tips for dealing with Anti-Social Behavior (ASB) at home, here at Lansbury Square, or out and about in your social life.

If you feel unsafe or believe the ASB might be breaking the law, contact the police at:
[email protected]
For urgent situations where someone is at risk, always dial 999 immediately.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฆ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐
If ASB is affecting your neighbourhood, residents should report it through the councilโs official website:
www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/asb
(See the bottom of the page for the reporting process.)

For issues like revving cars, loud noise pollution, or modified exhausts causing loud bangs, call 101 or 999 in emergencies. Even better, email all details of the vehicle to:
[email protected]
They aim to respond within 5 working days. Be sure to gather as many details as possible and include photos or videos to support your report.

Once reported, the police will gradually build a case and profile individuals causing ASB. Some may already be known to the police, making it easier to address and potentially prosecute.

๐ช๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ:
Use the councilโs official webpage: ๐๐๐.๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ต๐ฎ๐บ๐น๐ฒ๐๐.๐ด๐ผ๐.๐๐ธ/๐ฎ๐๐ฏ
When asked if the issue is happening right now, select NO.
This is because police (999) respond only to urgent situations where someone is at risk and may not have resources for non-emergency requests.
๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฑ:
Provide your full name, address, and contact details. Anonymous reports are not accepted.

Serious cases causing harassment, alarm, or distress are prioritized.
Investigation and Enforcement.
Process:
The assigned team investigates, collects evidence, and assesses violations.

If ASB happens on private or estate land (e.g., Madeira Street), the council cannot enforce action. Responsibility lies with landowners (Brunsfield Management with L&Q Group). If the level of ASB or risks involved are significant, residents should still report these incidents online and also notify the police at [email protected].
