INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY | AMBITION WITHOUT EXHAUSTION

To mark International Women’s Day, LPF Member , Founder of Potential Plus International, shares a thoughtful reflection on something many senior women quietly grapple with: how to sustain ambition without becoming exhausted by it.

The conversation around women in leadership often focuses on numbers and representation. But as Oona highlights, the reality is more complex. Ambition, leadership, family responsibilities and the invisible “mental load” can create pressures that statistics alone do not capture.

In her work coaching senior leaders across global organisations, Oona explores the practical ways leaders can support one another through advocacy, mentoring, access and belief — while also recognising the importance of boundaries, reflection and energy management in sustaining long-term ambition.

It is a timely reminder that leadership is not simply about doing more. It is about creating environments where people can thrive, develop and contribute meaningfully without burning out along the way.

POWER OF ART: Starting the new year with something special for The Luxury Property Forum founder’s home office. We came across ’s work and was blown away by the fun, texture and movement in her pieces. We commissioned a painting for the space and could not be happier.

Art matters in a workspace. It shapes how you feel, sets the tone for the room, making it a place you actually want to be in. At The LPF we also know the importance of virtual events, with regular networking, masterclasses and webinars. On screen your background is part of your first impression. A considered piece is a quiet statement about who you are and a great conversation starter.

Thank you, Emma, for creating something so wonderful. A lovely way to start the new year especially with the sun streaming in through the window! If you are looking for a piece for yourself or a client, Emma is available for commissions. DM her for enquiries.

WELL CONNECTED WOMEN: Last night, The LPF had the pleasure of attending the Summer Party in partnership with .

Well Connected Women is a community built on genuine connection, trust and collaboration. It brings together women working with private clients and wealth in an industry that can sometimes feel hard to navigate.

We’re unbelievably proud of what our LPF team member Amy Marshall of and LPF member Rachel Ewing of have achieved in such a short time. What began as an idea has grown into a vibrant network where women come together to share insight, support each other and have real conversations, whether it’s about career milestones, wellbeing or building confidence in a complex sector.

It’s so important for The LPF to champion other networks that are actively working to make the industry better and bring people together. We were delighted to see so many LPF members there last night. It shows a genuine shared commitment to connecting, collaborating and making our industry the very best it can be.

For us, it’s about inspiring the next generation and ensuring that we’re lifting each other up in every conversation, every introduction and every room we’re in.

Congratulations again to Amy, Rachel and the whole Well Connected Women community.
