🏡 **PLANNING PERMISSION APPROVED – HOUSE TO 2 FLATS IN HOUNSLOW** ✅

Another great result for **SY Design Studio** – we’ve secured **planning permission** for the conversion of an existing family house in **Hounslow** into **2 self-contained residential flats**. 👏

This wasn’t a simple “submit and wait” application. During the process we had to work closely with the planning officer and respond to a number of detailed comments, including:

✔ Removing the potential for rear parking and redesigning the frontage

🚨 Planning Application Fees Increasing from April 2026 🚨

If you're thinking about doing an extension, loft conversion, or any development — this is important 👇

Planning application fees in England are set to increase from 1 April 2026, with most applications going up in line with inflation (around 3.8%).

Here are a few key changes:
• Householder applications (extensions, lofts etc): £528 ➜ £548
• Prior Approval (e.g. larger extensions): £240 ➜ £249
• Class MA (commercial to residential): £250 ➜ £260 per unit

It may not seem like a huge jump, but when combined with other rising costs, it all adds up 💸
