A little Behind The Scenes from our photo shoot the other week, when we welcomed both Kirstin and Tom to the Residential Property team in London office!

Site inspection (from the train).

Always a pleasure to see Battersea Power Station. Currently have numerous transactions in there just now and a few exchanges took place last week. Looking glorious from any angle ☀️ 🚊

Property Top Tips with Neeti & Doug | Episode 5

The heatwaves may have distracted us for a while… ☀️😅 But we couldn’t leave the series unfinished!

So here’s our final Property Top Tip (for now)…

One of the simplest things you can do to help your transaction run smoothly is let us know your preferred completion date as early as possible. Even if it’s only an ideal date, it gives everyone something to work towards.

We’ll work closely with the estate agents and the other solicitors to help agree a completion date that works for all parties and keep things moving.

The earlier the conversation starts, the better the chances of achieving the date you’re hoping for.

Have you enjoyed our Property Top Tips series? Let us know if there’s a topic you’d like us to cover next!

When you happen to be in the office on a Saturday and manage to catch the Red Arrows flying over the office and the Savoy Hotel, for the Trooping of the Colour ❤️ 💙 🤍

(Excuse the shrieking 🤣)

Take the shade while you can ☀️ Our London office in the shade of The Savoy Hotel. We’ll take that. Thank you

Turns out there was one clear theme in this week’s quick-fire question… 👀

When we asked the office, what is their favourite thing about the job, the was a definite common theme in the responses : the people and the clients.

Perfect timing really, as this afternoon the whole firm comes together for our away day — a chance to step away from our desks, catch up with colleagues and spend time with the teams that make Lester Aldridge what it is.

🚚 Missed our Property Top Tips lately?

Well, here’s one just in time for moving day Friday… 👀

In Episode 4 of Property Top Tips with Neeti & Doug, we’re talking about one of the most important days in the whole process — moving day itself.

Timing is so important on Completion Day - so getting ready in advance is essential.

If you’re moving home today (or soon), this one’s for you 🏡

Communication, communication, communication.

It’s been a theme with our property particulars podcasts so far and our episode with Adam Jones of was no different.

Communication between agents and clients; clients and solicitors; and solicitors and solicitors HAS to be the key to any successful transaction.
