Three years of blood, sweat and tears and we finally got the news we'd been waiting for.
Following a 2-day hearing at the beginning of August planning consent has finally been granted for our 32 unit scheme in West Drayton, UB7.
Although delighted the news was tarnished with a hint of sadness in that these much needed homes should have been built and occupied by now. If only the London Borough of Hillingdon showed the same semblance of common sense that the Inspector did in granting consent on this 'designated' and highly sustainable site sitting alongside a brand new Elizabethan Line Station.
A special thanks must go to our planning consultants hgh Consulting and in particular Mark Westcott and Ellie Fowler who supported our vision from the start and gave us the confidence to follow the process through to its fully justified conclusion.
We couldn't have succeeded without them or the commitment and professionalism of our vast & outstanding professional team. Pierre Saunal (architect), Kevin Leigh (barrister), Sarah Fitzpatrick & Carina Wentzel (legal advice and support), Catherine Xavier (landscaping), Liam Dunford (daylight/sunlight), Natasha Bray (daylight/sunlight), Stephen Levrant & Cath Layton (heritage), Christine Hereward (s.106), Neil Marshall (Transport), Andy Leahy (viability), George Constant (acquisition solicitor), Zak Presky (Linea), Antony Stark (Linea), Gavin Sherman (Linea), Mark Symonds (Flood Risk), Ian Walker (Geo-technicals), Matthew Smithurst (CGIs), Martin O'Connor (Ecology), Angus Sangster (Fire), Tommy Burn (Acoustics), XCO2 (Sustainability/Energy), Chris Atkins (B.I.A).
Another huge thank-you goes to our ever loyal funders Matthew Plax (UMTB) & Hemesh Patel (OakNorth Bank) who understand the process and always show unreserved commitment to us and the cause.
