TRANSLATION:
My people of Anambra Central, this is the time to open our eyes and stand for what is right.
The reason I ventured into politics is not for money or personal ambition, but because of the burden God placed in my heart for our people. I have seen nations with the same resources Nigeria has, yet their people live better because leadership works for them, not against them. Here, some politicians believe they can impose themselves on the people through poverty and entitlement. This era must stop.
That is why I joined forces with Our Principal, Peter Obi, and the OK Movement under NDC, because I believe in justice, fairness, accountability, and people-first leadership. If we truly stand for change, then that change must begin from within.
No Senate seat belongs to one man. No position is anybody’s birthright. Democracy was built on participation, competition, and the right of the people to choose freely. If anyone truly believes he has the capacity and support of the people, let records speak and let the people decide.
Many may look at me and wonder where I came from, but scripture reminds us that God does not always choose based on human expectations. Joseph’s dreams were mocked before they became reality. David was only a shepherd boy before he became king. So I am not moved by intimidation, because when God ordains a mission, no man can stop it.
What we want for Anambra Central is a new standard, leadership built on integrity, competence, transparency, and genuine concern for the people.
Anambra Central deserves nothing less.
God bless you!
