Human Resource Manager (T Level Students Focus)

Location: London, UK

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Manager to oversee the integration and management of T Level students within our organization. Based in London, this role focuses on the successful onboarding, training, development, and support of T Level students during their industry placements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for student development, strong organizational skills, and a keen understanding of both HR practices and the T Level programme.

Key Responsibilities:
T Level Student Programme Management

Act as the primary HR contact for T Level students, ensuring their smooth integration into the workforce.
Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for T Level placements.
Collaborate with educational institutions and industry partners to align the placement with student learning objectives and company needs.
Develop tailored induction programmes to support T Level students in their transition into the workplace.

Student Support & Development
Implement mentoring and coaching programmes to support students' personal and professional development.
Ensure students have access to necessary resources, training, and professional development opportunities.
Monitor student performance and progression, offering feedback and development plans as needed.
Liaise with line managers and supervisors to ensure appropriate workplace training and support is provided.

HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations relating to student placements and apprenticeships.
Maintain accurate records of student placements, ensuring all HR processes are followed, including contracts, performance reviews, and evaluations.
Support diversity and inclusion efforts within the placement process, promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.

Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the T Level programme coordinators, educational institutions, and government bodies to ensure alignment with T Level frameworks and standards.
Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to create placement opportunities that align with organizational goals.
Report on placement outcomes, student progression, and impact to senior management.

Workplace Culture & Well-being
Promote a supportive and inclusive workplace culture for T Level students.
Develop and implement initiatives aimed at student well-being, ensuring a positive experience throughout their placement.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CIPD qualification preferred).
Familiarity with UK employment law, particularly in relation to students, apprenticeships, and work placements.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, and student support.
Ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders including educational institutions, students, and internal teams.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Manager – Serviced Accommodation, Rent-to-Rent, and HMO Deals

We are seeking an experienced Manager to oversee and grow our portfolio in Serviced Accommodation, Rent-to-Rent, and HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) property deals. In this role, you will work with minimal supervision, as the Director is available only on Tuesdays. This requires a self-driven, highly organized individual capable of managing investor relationships, securing property deals, and handling daily operations independently.

The role is London-based and will involve significant autonomy in decision-making, while reporting to the Director for strategic guidance once a week.

Key Responsibilities:
Independent Management & Operations
Work autonomously to manage all aspects of the property portfolio, including daily operations, financial oversight, and compliance with property laws.
Make key decisions related to property acquisitions, investor engagement, and deal structuring with minimal supervision.
Provide weekly reports and updates to the Director during scheduled Tuesday meetings, highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Investor Relations & Fundraising
Develop and maintain investor relationships, identifying opportunities to secure funding for Serviced Accommodation, Rent-to-Rent, and HMO deals.
Present compelling investment opportunities to high-net-worth individuals and private investors, ensuring clarity on financial returns and property performance.
Ensure continuous communication with investors to keep them informed of portfolio updates and new opportunities.
Deal Structuring & Financial Planning
Independently structure property deals to ensure profitability for both the business and investors.
Conduct financial analyses, including rental yield forecasts, cost management, and ROI projections for potential deals.
Negotiate terms with landlords and investors, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the business and compliance with all legal and financial requirements.
Property Management & Compliance
Oversee day-to-day management of properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance, tenant satisfaction, and legal compliance.
Ensure all properties, especially HMOs, adhere to licensing requirements, safety regulations, and local authority guidelines.
Work with contractors and property managers to resolve operational issues and manage tenant relationships effectively.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead a small team of property managers, contractors, and support staff, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure your team operates efficiently in your absence or when the Director is unavailable.
Provide mentorship to junior staff, promoting a proactive and responsible approach to property management.
Compliance & Risk Management
Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure that all properties meet UK property laws, HMO licensing, health and safety standards, and tenancy regulations.
Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report them to the Director during weekly meetings.
Marketing & Investor Outreach
Develop strategies to attract new investors, including attending networking events, online outreach, and collaboration with marketing teams.
Collaborate with the marketing department to create promotional materials that showcase successful deals and investment opportunities.
Use social media and other platforms to raise the profile of the company and generate investor interest.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field.
Years of experience in property management, with expertise in Serviced Accommodation, Rent-to-Rent, and HMO models.
Strong track record of working independently with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to secure and manage investor relationships, with a focus on structuring and closing property deals.
Solid understanding of UK property law, HMO regulations, and property management best practices.
Excellent financial analysis, communication, and negotiation skills.
