🏡 Leasehold Reforms in the UK – What Landlords & Investors Need to Know! 🚀

The UK government has announced groundbreaking leasehold reforms, bringing significant changes that could reshape the property market. These reforms aim to phase out leasehold ownership for houses and transition leasehold flats to a commonhold system. Understanding what has been approved and what is still in planning is key for investors and landlords!

Key Changes in the Leasehold Reform:
✅ Ban on new leasehold houses
✅ Commonhold system for flats – Planned for the second half of 2025
✅ 990-year lease extensions
✅ Marriage value abolished
✅ Immediate eligibility for lease extensions – In effect from 31 Jan 2025
✅ Right to Manage (RTM) reforms – In effect from 3 March 2025
