Moonstar Caravan Rental at Seton Sands Holiday Village

Apparently Facebook's been hiding our reviews from us for months 🤦‍♂️😂

Detective Autumn and I are on the case 🕵️🐾

Also... shameless little share of the Moonstar page while I'm here 😏🌙

Well... this is slightly embarrassing 🤦‍♂️😂
Turns out Facebook has been keeping secrets from us...

I was having a nosey through the Moonstar page today and found a load of absolutely lovely recommendations from previous guests that we were never even notified about — including one from JUNE! 😳

So firstly, if you've left us a recommendation and thought “Cheers Scott, could've at least replied...” — I promise I wasn't ignoring you! 😂 I've found them now and finally replied ❤️
But sitting reading through them all today was pretty lovely.

Comfy beds, air fryers, toys and games for the kids, toiletries, well-stocked kitchens... apparently even being 5 minutes from Papa John's is now an official Moonstar selling point 😂🍕

What I loved most though was how many people mentioned us and how we looked after them.
Moonstar really is just us. Me, Jojo, the kids (and apparently Autumn has now joined the investigations 🕵️‍♀️🐾😂), with three caravans that we've filled with all the stuff we'd want if we were going away ourselves.
There's no big team sitting behind the page. If you message Moonstar, 99% of the time it's just me waffling back at you 😂

We've got guests who've stayed with us twice this year and are already talking about coming back in 2027, people who've recommended us to friends and family, and one family who came home from a 5-day break, decided they weren't quite ready for reality yet and booked Stargaze for that very same day...
Then apparently Stargaze was a little too comfortable, because their Fri–Mon break somehow turned into Fri–Fri 😂❤️
I think that's probably one of the best compliments a caravan can get!

So yeah... discovering Facebook had hidden all these from us was mildly irritating 😂 but actually getting to sit and read them all today was a really nice surprise.

❤️ DOUBLE CELEBRATION TODAY ❤️

Today is a pretty special day in our household.

Not only is it Father's Day, but it's also our wedding anniversary. 🥂

Eight years ago, I married the woman who would become my best friend, biggest supporter and the person who somehow manages to keep me moving forward even when I'm running on empty.

Anyone who knows Moonstar Caravans knows my face is usually the one replying to messages, greeting guests and posting on the page, but the truth is that none of this would work without my wife.

She's the one doing countless jobs behind the scenes that nobody sees. She's the voice of reason when I've got another "brilliant" idea, the one helping with changeovers, cleaning, decorating, problem-solving, bookkeeping, and pretty much everything else that keeps the wheels turning.

Moonstar is very much a team effort.

As a husband and a dad, I couldn't be more grateful for the life we've built together. The laughs, the chaos, the challenges, the adventures, and most importantly, the memories.

Family time is something I value more than ever these days, and it's one of the reasons we're so passionate about helping other families make memories of their own at Seton Sands.

❤️ A Little Shout-Out to Someone We've Been Lucky Enough to Know for Years ❤️

Many of you won't know that Beth from PRINT CO. Designs is a former holiday home owner at Seton Sands, and that's actually how we first met.

Over the years we've watched her juggle family life, work in a nursery, and now build her own business from the ground up. And honestly? The things she's creating are incredible.
