🤠🏡 Designed for SA… but turned into a flip with a valuation that made the Director of Homes Under the Hammer cry!

True story. ❤️

This project started as a 🌵 ranch-inspired short stay. Midway through, the clients made the decision to continue all the way with the furnishing and put it on the market instead.

I knew this place was going to be successful as an SA because when it comes to standing out and creating an experience, it absolutely ticked the box. ✨

What I didn’t know was that the same approach could translate so powerfully when it came to selling.

I can’t share the numbers until the episode airs 📺 but I have no doubt that by then, a buyer will have fallen in love with this property and my clients will have achieved the maddest return from what was, essentially, a paint transformation and a huge boost of personality. 🎨🔥

Yesterday one of my latest projects was valued for 💥Homes Under The Hammer💥

I can’t share the figures yet, but the value added through design was far greater than most investors would expect.

It’s another reminder that design isn’t simply about making a property look nice.

💥 If you’ve ever wondered what design actually returns… here are some REAL numbers 👀

A client of mine refreshed their holiday let and their year-end stats came back like this:

✅ 219 nights booked → 277 nights booked
That’s +58 extra nights in a year.

They estimate their average week is around £800, so very broadly that’s roughly:
💥 ~£6,400 additional turnover (before running costs)

This is why, when it’s done properly, design is a performance tool and should be a strategic part of any project. 🚀…. In fact, better to get the design right the first time than having to refresh it!
