🏡 Home moving isn’t always easy — let me tell you the story behind this photo.

Mr Rahim and I first met just over two years ago, and his property was actually one of my very first instructions as a valuer at Venture Residential. What followed was a true roller-coaster of a journey.

We initially sold the property over the asking price within the first two weeks and successfully matched him with his next home. Unfortunately, after nearly a year, the upper chain collapsed and we lost our buyer.

Without hesitation, the team at Venture Residential stepped in and resold the property immediately at full asking price. Mr Rahim found another onward purchase, but due to lender requirements, that buyer was unable to proceed.

Despite the setbacks, neither Mr Rahim nor our team gave up. The property was sold again at full asking price, and after 18 long and stressful months, we were finally able to help him move into his dream home.

This photo was taken when I was invited back to see him settled and happy — a moment that truly made the journey worthwhile.

👉 The moral of the story:

Giving up isn’t an option. House moves don’t always run smoothly, but with the right motivation and the right people behind you, anything is possible.
