Selected rotten side cladding boards replaced. Fresh paint all round (Sadolin Superdec "Limestone") and the lift up front lid "thingy" replaced. New sturdy lid with gas struts fitted either to allow easy lifting and pulling down.

Decking overhaul here and refitted so that it can lift up and down smoothly.

Calshot refurbishment whilst the weather was still dry and mild. New outside cladding to both sides and the front. Rotti...

Calshot refurbishment whilst the weather was still dry and mild. New outside cladding to both sides and the front. Rotting window cill replaced. New storm doors made and installed along with a new drip bead above the doors to offer better rain protection. Inside of hut lined with breathable membrane. Tongue and groove cladding to all walls and the ceiling. Storage box beach seat built. Nice and cosy.

Lots of interior painting here. Prep first of course including some new cladding on the front along with a new pair of doors. Old roof felt removed with new felt added. Exterior of hut painted too.
