Here is an itinerary of what your stay at Heather Cottage in Brockenhurst could look like ~

🥾Walk the easy 20-minute walk into Brockenhurst village, where you will find local butchers, bakers and greengrocers, as well as the artisan outlets, independent shops, cafes, bistros and takeaway. We recommend breakfast at The Paddle in The Forest, pub lunch at Filly Inn and dinner at the renowned Pig restaurant.

🚲 If you fancy exploring by bike, there are some great hire spots less than a mile away - Jaunt E-bikes and Cyclexperience.

🛍 Explore the lovely independent shops in Brockenhurst village.

🍇 Take a trip to Setley Ridge Vineyard, an idyllic vineyard, cafe, farm shop and garden centre.

🍂 Explore the forest by stepping outside the front door, without the need to drive anywhere! But if you feel like exploring more of the forest, Blackwater Arboretum, Roydon Wood Wildlife Reserve, Bolderwood and Rhinefield Ornamental Drive are particularly beautiful in the autumn. Heather Cottage also allows 2 dogs!

🥾 The South Taste Trail, a popular excursion local to the village, combines a scenic walk to the charming neighbouring village Burley with various stops at tea rooms, delicatessens and traditional country pubs - burning off the calories as you go!
